A Bankruptcy or Consumer Proposal deals with your unsecured debts (debt that is not attached to your assets); therefore if you were to file either a Bankruptcy or a Consumer Proposal, you can do so on both the credit card and the line of credit without affecting your car loan. The payments on your car loan would have to be up to date when you file, and as long as payments continue to be made as originally agreed, nothing would change.
