The Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) has an online program designed for people who are in the process of an insolvency proceeding (consumer proposal or bankruptcy). It aims to provide you with the right tools and knowledge to help you move beyond your insolvency. If possible, please review this program and come to your counselling sessions ready to take advantage of your opportunity for a fresh start.

Each person who files a bankruptcy or a consumer proposal must complete two mandatory counselling sessions. To prepare for your counselling sessions, the information provided during those sessions can be found in the below booklets.
Please note that the $85 fee for the counselling session is already covered in the cost of your insolvency filing.
