Patricia Doncaster

I joined Green Hunt Wedlake Inc. in 2007 as an experienced Estate Manager and the Office Manager for the company’s Truro location and was proud to become a member of the Grant Thornton team when Green Hunt Wedlake joined the firm in 2012.

Preparing me for my role with Grant Thornton was my previous position as an Administrator with the Nova Scotia Provincial Government where, certified as a Qualified Bankruptcy Counselor through Ryerson Polytechnic University, I worked with clients on Consumer Proposals and Orderly Payment of Debt. Changing course in 2000, I’ve worked for Trustee firms in the private sector  and gained additional experience in income tax issues and preparation. To round out my knowledge, I am enrolled in the National Insolvency Qualification Program with the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.

In addition to working out of the Truro office, I travel to New Glasgow and Antigonish and get great satisfaction from both answering people’s financial questions and helping them discover the best solution to their debt problems.

Testimonials

“Dear Patricia, just a note to thank you for helping me get my finances in order. Since my divorce in 2004 I’ve been trying to find a way to catch up on my bills. When I came to your office that day I was so surprised to see how fast you turned things around for me. I think I was in shock, and still find it hard to believe that now I have a chance to get this paid off. Thank you also for the good advice you gave me, I wish I had come to you sooner. May God bless you and the work that you do.” – SK, Halifax
