Robert is a Partner at Grant Thornton and devotes his time to both the corporate services offered as well as personal insolvency services. Robert is a Chartered Professional Accountant, a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee. Robert is Past President of the Nova Scotia Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals and sits on the board of the Canadian Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Professionals.
Daniel is a Partner at Grant Thornton. Dan is also a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and a licensed Licensed Insolvency Trustee. Dan is fluently bilingual in English and French. Dan received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa.
Peter specializes in the financial restructuring, receivership and bankruptcy area. Peter received a Bachelor of Law from Dalhousie in 1975 and has been a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society since 1977. Peter is also a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and was made a Fellow in 2002 and a Licensed Licensed Insolvency Trustee.
Ed is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and Licensed Licensed Insolvency Trustee, and has worked in the insolvency field since 1991. Ed is a past board member of the Nova Scotia Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals. His experience covers consumer and corporate bankruptcies, receiverships and restructuring.
Blaire has been a team member since 2007. She is a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Professional Accountant, and also holds an MBA. Blaire is a Licensed Licensed Insolvency Trustee and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and works primarily in the consumer insolvency area.
Rob has been working in the insolvency field since 2003. He is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP). In addition he is a Certified Insolvency Administrator and Counsellor and works primarily in the consumer insolvency area. Rob has extensive background knowledge on debt restructuring and brings this to his current role.
Sean is a Senior Manager at Grant Thornton Limited and works primarily in our corporate insolvency practice helping companies and sole-proprietors restructure their financial affairs. Part of his time is also devoted to our consumer insolvency practice where he takes great pleasure in helping people resolve their financial difficulties by reaching agreements with their creditors or implementing other strategic options that are available to them. Sean is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT).
Lynda has worked in different areas of insolvency procedures since 1982 and has been an Estate Manager since 1987. Her primary focus is consumer insolvency. Lynda has obtained a designation as Accredited Financial Counselor from The Institute For Personal Finance.
Beth joined the team in 1989 and through experience and study she advanced to her current position as an Estate Manager. Since 1997 Beth has focused on consumer insolvency. She is currently enrolled in the National Insolvency Qualification Program with the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals
Patricia joined the team in 2007 as an experienced Estate Manager and the Office Manager for the company's Truro location. Patricia is currently enrolled in the National Insolvency Qualification Program with the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.
Krista has been a team member since 2009. She is a certified Insolvency Administrator who works in consumer insolvency. She is an Insolvency Counselor registered with the Office of the Superintendant of Bankruptcy. Krista assists individuals and families experiencing financial difficulty.
Tanya joined the team in 2016 focusing in the area of consumer insolvency. She has worked in different areas of the insolvency field since 2007. She is an Insolvency Counselor registered with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy and is currently enrolled in the Insolvency Administrator’s course.
